Ah, educational technology. We can’t live with it and we can’t live without. What is your favorite technology in the classroom. A plain white board? The overhead projector? A SmartBoard? Your computer?
What about software? is there something you cannot live without?
I am curious to know other people’s opinions about the recent Bronc Express article titled “Detention can prove to be a fun experience.” I’m pretty sure I don’t like the idea that students view detention as a place where they can have “a blast” or as an experience that “was on [sic] of the funniest things I’ve ever had to do.”
I guess I’ll think twice before sending a kid out for misbehavior the next time since detention sounds more like a reward than a punishment.
