The authors of this site are both teachers at Billings Senior High School in Billings, Montana.

Vince Long teaches Technology Education, and Drafting, and is the chairman of the Technology Education department.   He graduated from California State-Long Beach in 1986 with a B.A. in Industrial Arts.   Prior to that he spent 15 years in California working in the petrochemical design and construction industry.   He is an old time radio enthusiast and serves as editor of the Montana Council for Computers and Technology in Education newsletter.

Steve Gardiner earned a B.S. in English education from Chadron State College (Nebraska) in 1977 and has been teaching high school English for 21 years in Wyoming, Montana, and Peru.   He has served for 7 years on the English/Language Arts committee with the National Board for Professional Teaching Standards in Washington, DC.   He has published articles in numerous newspapers and magazines as well as two books.   He has been on mountain climbing expeditions to Alaska, the Andes, the Alps, Greenland and Mt. Everest.

Both authors have masters degrees in Educational Technology from Montana State University-Billings, and achieved National Board Certification in their respective curriculum areas in 2002.
